Developed by Denmark’s Bjarke Ingels Group, this plant produces energy from waste; however it is slightly different from its counterparts. It seems that the company wanted to add more function to the plant so they built a ski-run over it. The chimney stacks are built to release a 30 meter wide smoke ring per 1 ton of CO2 emission. It’s still a question whether a giant smoke ring in the sky would encourage the inhabitants of Copenhagen to consume less but the ski-run will definitely be an attraction.
