Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot definitely raised the bar at BaselWorld 2012, showing off the most expensive watch of the fair (or the world), the Hublot “5MILLION” watch. You would think it is an impressive marketing stunt but this watch was actually sold to Asia´s leading luxury watch retailer. This ´little´ fortune holds 1282 diamonds, more then 100 carats of baguette-cut stones sitting in 18K white gold. It took 14 months to craft, 7 months of work for 12 cutters and 5 setters. But still…you can buy A LOT of nice watches for $5 MILLION!

İsviçreli lüks saat üreticisi Hublot, dünyanın en pahalı saati olan Hublot “5 Milyon”u  Basel World 2012’de göstererek  çıtayı yükseltti. Bunun etkileyici bir pazarlama taktiği (hüneri) olduğunu düşünebilirsiniz, fakat bu saat Asya’nın önde gelen lüks saat perakendecisinde satıldı. Bu küçük servet 18K beyaz altın üzerine 1282 elmas ve 100 karattan fazla baget-kesme taştan oluşur. Bu zanaat 12 bıçak ve 5 belirleyici tarafından 7 ay çalışılarak 14 ayda tamamladı. Ama yine de… 5 Milyon Dolara bir sürü güzel saat satın alabilirsiniz!
